The biggest change from the last report is that the Coho salmon have arrived into our waters. Coho fishing is a lot of fun. We fish for them in the shallow water column close to the surface and as they come up the strikes are often explosive. You can also retain two hatchery Coho salmon per person per day, so while Chinook fishing is still closed for retention until July 31st, Coho can be kept.
The last few days we have been averaging 5-15 Coho even on our shorter 5-hour trips.
With the almost summer-like conditions in the forecast, it’s a great time to come out with us on the water and get the true west coast experience.
There is no better way to see Vancouver than from the ocean on our Grady-White boats.
